Remote Consultation Terms & Conditions
These General Terms & Conditions apply to all remote consultation services provided by First Choice Home Inspection. By submitting payment or completing an intake form, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Nature of Service (Advisory Only)
Remote consultations are advisory in nature and do not replace a full, on‑site home inspection. Opinions are based exclusively on materials the client provides, including photos, videos, documents, or written descriptions.
2. No On-Site Verification
Because no physical inspection occurs, the following cannot be evaluated or confirmed:
- Structural integrity or framing conditions
- Hidden moisture intrusion or mold
- Roof, attic, crawlspace, or foundation conditions not shown in materials
- HVAC, plumbing, or electrical performance
- Permit compliance or code-related requirements
3. Limitation of Liability
Liability for any remote consultation is strictly limited to the amount paid for that consultation. No consequential, indirect, or additional damages may be claimed.
4. No Engineering or Legal Advice
Remote consultations do not constitute engineering analysis, structural evaluation, legal advice, or environmental testing of any kind. Any recommendations to seek further evaluation are advisory only.
5. Accuracy of Client-Provided Information
Conclusions and opinions are based solely on information the client provides. First Choice Home Inspection is not responsible for incomplete photos, low‑quality images, missing documents, or inaccurate descriptions.
6. No Determination of Safety or Habitability
Remote consultations cannot determine immediate safety hazards, habitability, presence of pests, mold, asbestos, or other environmental concerns.
7. No Guarantee of Value or Investment Return
Remote consultations do not guarantee property value, repair costs, future conditions, or investment performance.
8. Client Responsibility for Follow-Up
The client is responsible for obtaining any contractor estimates, engineering evaluations, specialist inspections, or additional assessments recommended during the consultation.
9. Payment & Refund Policy
All remote consultation services must be paid in full before any materials are reviewed. Fees are non‑refundable once documents, photos, or videos have been submitted or reviewed.
10. Agreement to Terms
By completing payment or submitting any intake materials, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions stated above.
